arply runs on about €20 of hardware. Print a housing for it, flash it straight from your browser, or skip both and reserve a ready-made unit.

Quickstart

From parts to AirPlay in five steps

The short version — a full written guide is coming soon. This covers what you need to get arply running.

    Get the parts

    A Seeed XIAO ESP32‑S3 and a PCM5102A DAC board — no wiring needed, about €20 total. Or skip this and reserve a ready-made unit below.

    Print the housing

    Download the STL/STEP files or find the project on Printables.

  3. 3

    Flash the firmware

    Plug the board in over USB and flash it straight from your browser — no software to install.

  4. 4

    Join it to Wi‑Fi

    Plug arply into USB power and it starts its own network, arply setup. Connect to it — a setup page opens automatically, or open arply.local yourself. From there, connect it to your Wi‑Fi, give it a name, and configure it to your liking.

    Find it in AirPlay

    It shows up in the AirPlay menu on any iPhone, iPad, or Mac on the same network.
